Description
Kewa Pueblo has long been recognized as a community rich in tribal pottery, basketry, and jewelry artisans. It is situated between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico, along the Rio Grande. It was given the Santo Domingo name by the Spanish conquistadors , but has always been known as Kewa by its indigenous inhabitants.
