CARE: Wash cool to warm on a gentle cycle. Dry delicate to gentle. Any cotton fabric will shrink when washed and dried even when the greatest caution is used. Generally, the hotter the wash/dry temperature, the more pronounced the shrinkage will be.
USE: All cotton fabric has a predisposition for fraying along the edges when being washed. The internet abounds in suggestions for minimizing this possibility, but here is a method we have used with great success: Before washing, stitch the raw edge in a zig-zag pattern. If the edges fray, we trim off 1/8 to 1/4″.
